What better way to begin blogging than to announce that we are in the running for a top award!
The award season is well under way and we have been nominated for the Packaging award at the food and beverage industry equivalent of the Oscars! This follows the completion of our biggest ever project – a million pound deal which saw the installation of 12 packaging lines within the world’s most modern sausage factory – opened by Tulip Ltd, part of the Danish Crown Group, near Liverpool.
I am personally delighted as our team sweated blood and tears to deliver the 12 lines in the short time frame! Having all of our machines designed and manufactured within the UK is a big bonus and this fact definitely came into its own during the consultation process with Tulip. We were able to incorporate both semi and fully automated lines and specifically modify the machines to suit Tulip's requirements.
Awards are an extremely important part of the future for small business. Not only is the exposure invaluable but the opportunity to network with other like-minded businesses can result in some interesting synergies for us!
